Trump Bans CNN and Politico from White House
U.S. President Donald Trump has banned media outlets including CNN, Politico, and MS Now from entering the White House. Trump accused these organizations of spreading 'fake news' and 'fabricated lies.' This ban comes just weeks before crucial midterm elections, and it is not the first time Trump has taken such measures against journalists.
Why it matters? This development marks a significant turning point for press freedom and media relations in the U.S. Restrictions on media access could affect voters' access to information, potentially influencing election outcomes indirectly.
