Ryanair Cuts 12 Routes from Berlin's BER Airport

Ryanair is dropping twelve routes from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) for the winter schedule. No airline will offer a direct flight to Palermo, Marseille, Trieste, Reggio Calabria, Tallinn, or Pisa anymore. Meanwhile, other airlines - including easyJet, Eurowings, Sundair, Aegean, and Wizz Air - are taking over the routes to Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Bologna, Lanzarote, Thessaloniki, and Vilnius. The Schönefeld site is also affected by the changes.

Why it matters

Travelers flying from BER lose direct access to six destinations entirely (Palermo, Marseille, Trieste, Reggio Calabria, Tallinn, Pisa) - reaching them will now require a connection or a different departure airport.
